"People say, 'You're just some pervy guy watching people have sex,' but the most intimate character studies are done at the moment that people are most vulnerable and exposed," says creator/writer/director Chris Bradford of his new project, "Bed The Series," from Producer/Actor Ben Steele and Executive Producer Tom Mooney's Moon Media. "That moment most often occurs in the bedroom."
As the show's website explains, the series is set in NYC and episodes emanate mostly from the bedroom, "Where we connect, seduce, and fantasize. Where secrets are kept and inhibitions released."
Bradford recently completed work on the pilot episode, "Backburners," which explores the confusing, demoralizing and often exhausting limbo stage of sexual entanglements managed through any combination of open-ended text messages, emails, IM’s, and Facebook chats. The pilot is one of 14 episodes mapped out by the creator and producers, with the series focusing on 8 interconnected central characters and each episode set at about 10 minutes in length. The team plans to launch the pilot sometime in April, and formalize production and distribution at that point.
Bradford, a copywriter at NY agency Saatchi & Saatchi, met Mooney through their mutual connection to advertising. "Tom's not afraid to embrace the web and tackle it," he says. "A lot of people at his level are afraid to evolve or innovate, and they're becoming extinct."
Since he's in the ad biz, does Bradford see the potential for advertising revenue in support of the show? "Obviously, if you think about product placement that's in line with some of the themes of the show," Bradford says, "we can see where this could be very interesting."

Thanks for your good advice. I agree. The more people, the merrier. More weight makes for a faster ride. Thanks David, good advice. We're actually already starting to work.
